If you like the idea of lower energy consumption, then the EVO PC concept is definitely the computer for you. Revolutionizing the conventional model, this futuristic concept shifts bulky hardware to service, introducing a fine alternative to traditional personal computing. The elegant concept is made of sustainable materials and features a base terminal, the EVO Client, which connects to a mighty remote server cluster, obviously the EVO Server, via a broadband internet connection. The Client hosts a basic PC board with a low power processor, RAM, flash memory, wireless card, and a unique docking Base unit which supplies power and connectivity to the Server, as well as the several network, multimedia and USB ports. The actual computing process is carried out at the Server, granting the EVO PC 99% smaller size, 96% less mass, and 50% less power consumption than a typical desktop PC. The fee based service will include all support, upgrades and maintenance on the virtual PC, explicitly the Server, while the user will benefit from the potential to upgrade only the PC board if necessary. Great news in view of the diminishing life expectancy of current computer models, and the subsequent cost of a comprehensive upgrade!  The goal of the EVO PC concept is to address ALL of the key environmental issues associated with today’s PC, from cradle to grave.
