Avant-garde shoe design bordering on bizarre. The black design with the heel to one side is made of carbon fiber, the red models are stainless steel and leather made using the designers “leather mache” technique. The beige strappy numbers are leather and carbon fiber, the yellow pair is fiberglass, and the white “Foldedshoe” is constructed of wood and a single folded piece of tarpaulin.  Critically acclaimed designer Marloes ten Bhömer produces shoes that are both provocative and otherworldly. Her work fuses artistic and technological experiment in order to discover shoes anew.
