If you thought My Super Sweet 16 featured over-the-top luxury parties, you haven’t seen footage of the prom at St. Francis Preparatory High School in Queens.

The “ultimate prom,” as the media is calling it, for America’s largest Catholic high school looked more like a red carpet event than a teen graduation celebration, but when your prom is organized by companies like Hearst, the publishers of magazines like CosmoGirl, what else would you expect?

The prom, held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City on May 30, had everything from fun freebies to celebrity attendees which included R&B performances by Ashanti, Lloyd and Jojo.

St Francis Prep School won a contest by showing they had not only a large student body attending (nearly 1,000 students), but also had to show “diversity” and “enthusiasm.”
