 Frenetic Papercraft Masterpieces by Peter Karras Put All Others to Sha Published: Feb 20, 09 Views: 3,340 I’m a sucker for typography art, but these hand-cut posters by Peter Karras are officially my new favorites. Whereas the Etsy finds we usually feature are small cards or office paper-sized creations, Karras’ big boys are 22” x 30”. While all of the letters of the alphabet are for sale, Peter Karras has only photographed the vowel typography posters. Each one takes about six weeks to make, and Karras says that he will only make each letter once. At $500 a pop, when Karras’ alphabet is sold, he’ll have a pretty sweet chunk of change for his efforts.  Peter Karras is a New York-based graphic designer. He works at Mother Design under the creative direction of Michael Ian Kaye, and has contributed to ad campaigns and brand identities for Liz Claiborne, East Village Radio and Virgin Mobile, among others.
