A design collective called Start specializes in typography, art direction and motion graphics. These examples of pop out texts seem perfect as wall mounts for comic book fanatics.

The typography project was made by Phil Robson and Mathieu Carlot, and was made by laser cutting, varnishing, gluing, layering, and framing.

Implications - In today's society it's cooler than ever to be a geek, and the comic book aesthetic has become appealing even to those who consumers who have never so much as picked up a graphic publication. Any product that incorporates pop culture into new and exiting mediums is bound to be widely accepted across a broad spectrum of consumers.
