The half-and-half look is a fashion phenomenon we’re seeing more and more as time passes. Maybe it’s an attempt to get two looks for one in our fiscally sour times, but designers are loving the idea of putting two styles into one outfit.
From the ironic take on the look from Katy Perry where she was half man-half woman (why was the moustache on both sides?) to the more serious takes from Preen Armand and Michael Van Der Ham, the look is being seen more and more on Fall 2009 runways.
