Twitter's Newest Feature Allows Users to Connect with Desired Accounts

While Twitter works to connect people through a cyberspace community, its new Twitter Connect Tab will suggest accounts that it believes specific users will be interested in, in an attempt to improve their overall satisfaction.
As Twitter Product Manager Ricardo Castro states, "To give you the best recommendations, we look at who you already follow, Tweets you like, popular accounts in your local area, what’s happening in the world right now, and more. We’ll also let you know exactly why we’re showing you each recommendation."
In order to further personalize each person's experience, the new Connect Tab also allows users to sync their address books in order to receive notifications when a friend or family member joins the popular social media community.
