Universe Mind by Nikolay Polissky Looks Like Medusa's Head

Although This Is Collossal likens 'Universe Mind' to a brain, it falls more in line with twisting snake buildings. As though modeled after Medusa's head, the unusual pavilion is covered in a mess of metal tendrils. This may be enough to capture people's attention, but the snake-like qualities are made even more apparent at night.
This example of twisting snake buildings turns into an impressive light show once night falls. The vibrant moving lights made it look as though the sinuous elements really are twisting around and over each other like a pack of snakes. Designed by Nikolay Polissky, it was recently shown during New Media Night Festival last month at the Nikola-Lenivets Art Park in Moscow, Russia. The light aspect was commissioned by media design studio Radugadesign.
