Joining in with the craze, the cast and crew of nerdy sitcom The Big Bang Theory unexpectedly get their groove on during a live taping of the show with its version of a TV flash mob.

The video begins unsuspectingly enough as the cast sits around in Sheldon and Leonard's apartment waiting for the taping to begin. As the cast yells action, Carly Rae Jepsen's hit 'Call Me Maybe' begins to blare on set. At first, the cast looks perplexed as the crew begins to dance in unison. However, soon enough the cast hop onto their feet and join in to dance in sync with the rest of the crowd.
