Turn A Calculator Into A Metal Detector - Video Shows You How (VIDEO)
Video Shows You How

This thing is straight out of MacGyver!  The video gives you clear, step-by-step instructions to make a working metal detector in minutes.  All you need are an AM radio, a calculator, and some tape.  Thanks it!  It seems to work fairly well.  You probably won’t be doing any treasure hunting on the beach, but it could be helpful for finding a screw or nail you dropped in the grass or on one of those “hide everything” kind of carpets.  Nifty!
