The ban on Turkish blogs under Blogger affects the Georgian blogs.

Caucasus Online, an internet provider in Georgia, uses Digiturk’s service network and internet users in Georgia are now also unable to visit sites from Blogger and *.blogspot.com domains.

The current ban on Blogger in Turkey was due to a copyright problem with Digiturk; a subscription based digital TV platform that owns the rights to the live broadcasting of Turkish football league games.
Digiturk asked Blogger to take several blogs down, which had links to pirated transmissions of the live games.
So Digiturk went to court and all the blogs are down.
Digiturk’s has managed to block Justin.tv and MyP2P TV for the same reasons.

In the meantime, Turkish bloggers are organizing.
They have created a site called ‘Blog Hareket Gunu’ (Blog Action Day) to unite and take a stand. (www.bloghareketgunu.com)
They have also started a petition on the same site.
