 Teens Find A New Way To Carpool - in Trunks! Viewed as an incovenience to their social lives, new teen drivers have found a way around graduated licensing laws - it’s called ‘trunking’. If they want to carry other teenage passengers in the vehicle, no problem! They simply smuggle them in the trunk. Law enforcement angencies are looking at ways to enforce traffic safety laws and and get the message across to kids and parents that this practice is not only illegal - it’s very dangerous.  A startling new trend has emerged among teenagers. Just to get around the new graduated license laws - that ban new drivers from having other kids in the car - some teens are now riding in the trunk.
