Designer Diego Figueroa has approached the problem of the public park with an energy and a newness that may just get children excited again about entertaining themselves outdoors. The Trepy Playground adopts a unique and diverse range of forms that are made possible by an inventive single unit, enabling the creative modularity of an abundance of distinctive recreational areas around town.
This jungle gym was actually taken on as one solution to the growing issue of childhood obesity in Mexico. What is suggested through the Trepy Playground is an acrobatic setup of these colorful Y-shaped components that will inspire kids to climb up and swing on the whimsical contrivance, using the ladders, rings and ropes that accessorize the elaborate structure.
