We just finished interviewing our good friend Reinier Evers, founder of TrendWatching. As a result, it gives us great pleasure to reveal his brilliant quote in the NY Times, “Trends are the New Trend.” The idea is that the proliferation of trend spotting is itself a trend. Cheers to that!

Reinier Evers explains that there are more people than ever who are stating that things are changing quite rapidly in today's society. He explains that these changes so many people are noticing are trends. Evers' company TrendWatching has identified over 60 big trends since 2002. Trends are an important part of society and will continue to be far into the future.
