The tear-drop shaped architectural tent is a 13 foot tall pod designed by Dutch sculptor Dré Wapenaar.

“Nestled among the branches, up off the ground, there’s a nine-foot-diameter hardwood floor and groovy round mattress inside,” Neiman Marcus explains. “It sleeps two adults comfortably and also makes the world’s coolest tree fort/spaceship (with adjustable planetary landing steps).”

Who on earth would buy such a thing? Well, Victoria Beckham for one! It was reported today by Now that she recently purchased a Treetent for her three sons, Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 5 and Cruz, 2.

The Beckham’s are all about creating a luxury Christmas for their kids though. David Beckham is said to have paid a Santa £25,000 to pay them a visit this December.
