This Hip Office (LINDO) by HK Ergonomics was based on the samurai belt worn by warriors of the ancient sport of samurai wrestling. It also resembles the school lunch trays that have been around for centuries.

By adding a belt to this tray, a new modern convenience is available for the lonely salaryman that needs constant contact via laptop.

Implications - Since many people are constantly on the go, this trend implies that they are in need helpful items that are able to travel easily with them. People who are constantly on their computers need items that will let them experience Internet access around the clock while simultaneously letting them multitask.
