The Toyota 2009 Venza crossover vehicle is engineered and designed specifically for the North American (NA) market.  It will be sold exclusively in NA in late 2008.

The exterior of the Toyota ’09 Venza features an imposing front end, an optional panoramic roof with separate glass panels over front and rear seats, and an angled rear hatch, rear spoiler and wide wraparound taillights. On the inside, the 5-passenger Venza has a lower rocker design and a higher ride height that provides better driver visibility and easier ingress and egress. Engine choices are a new 2.7-liter four-cylinder, or an available 268 hp, 3.5-liter V6 with a towing capability of 3,500 pounds. Both engines are mated with a six-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission, and Venza will be available in front- and all-wheel-drive configurations. The 4-cylinder models come with 19-inch alloy wheels, and the V-6 rides on 20-inchers. (chicagoautoshow)
