Located on a the site of a former gas station, the Tourist Information Center Postojna in Slovenia is a marvel of design considering the various spacial constraints. Designed by Studio Stratum, the Center includes a retail space that is framed perfectly by a timber facade and is located between an area of parks, parking and washrooms and a refreshments point.

The Tourist Information Center in Postojna is positioned so that anyone on the recreational campus can enjoy a view of the stunning building, which translates into a flexible and illuminated space.

The building exterior features a wooden facade in the shape of a canopy and almost appears in a 'Z' formation, which is contrasted by a bright yellow interior that draws the patrons in.
