There’s a new company in town and their name is Tivi. The company is made up of two men who are taking on the world of female fashion with slogans like “Hot Like Your Mom…Tough Like Your Dad”. Their collection of designer goods is still small and the item that caught my eye is the HIPS handbag made from solid wood in your choice of zebrawood or ebonywood. They design them to your specs with several different choices in finishings which might just about justify the $280 price tag. It’s an interesting design even if it looks like you’re toting around a log. Let’s just hope it doesn’t way as much as one.

Wooden panels are constructed in Sweden and are formed from birch and zebra or ebony veneers depending on the purse. A satin lacquer finish provides a resilient protective coating. (tiviwear)
