It is almost so simple that you bang your head: why they didn’t come up with this earlier? The feature allows you to charge your USB powered gadget while your laptop is off. You’ll realize the need for this when you’re irritated you have to turn your laptop on when you really didn’t want to use it, but need to charge your iPod or digital camera.
