Porsche, now celebrating their 60th anniversary, is one of the most prestigious luxury car brands in the world. The Porsche and Piëch brands are celebrating their collaborative innovations since June 8, 1948 when the first Porsche 356 was officially approved.
“It all started when I began looking around and just could not find my dream car,” said Ferry Porsche, who died in 1998. “So I decided to build it myself.”
Although the high standard of the German cars has never faltered, and their commitment to luxury, speed and elegance has endured, they continued to evolve their designs, thus allowing them to maintain their reputable position in the world of autos.
In addition to the Porsche brand, they own over 30% of the VW brand, hoping to raise the stakes to 50% later this year.
