Why bother wearing a watch you can read?  With some of the world’s most innovative watches, you won’t be able to tell time (easily), but you’ll certainly make a statement.

The aspirational days of the classic Rolex are gone.  Today, watch innovation is driven by unique form factors and cult design.  In fact, some of the hottest watches don’t resemble anything like watches of days gone by.

Over the last year and half, we’ve published 40 innovative watches. This list represents 25 of the most innovative and unusual concepts.

I'm surprised you don't have the LG GD910 wristwatch phone rumored to cost 1000 GBP. It makes sense to combine phones with watches. If you have a watch with a small bluetooth headset you don't need a pocket to store your phone anymore. Now we just need a holographic keyboard to appear or perfect voice translation from the bluetooth for your twitter feed. It seems like a perfect world to me. Most of these watches don't seem like they would capture the attention of mainstream users. Seems like a good deal when comparing to the used rolex out there on the market.
