Tommy Hagen has produced a series of intricate Cirque du Soleil-inspired masks which invigorate color and dimension in these traditional pieces. Each mask is hand painted in a series of obscure extremities. Attached to the bright and colorful masks are long vivacious wigs which add spunk to each photograph. The combination of colors from the mask, wigs and backgrounds make for an intricate array of artistic behavior.

The Dutch hairstylist is contributing this work towards TonkaTon, an on going project by Tommy Hagen. The mask series is photographed by Henrik Van Der Zwet and captures a high amount of spunk and attitude for the hairstylist. Hair art has officially been taken to the next level.
