The Tobacco Mita Sneakers Resemble a Trimmed 1970s Shag Rug

The Tobacco Mita footwear collection is a collaboration between Adidas Originals and Mita Sneakers. They are another addition to the pairing, which started out with the Adidas Originals CP80.

Instead of using loud colors or geometric patterns to make the kicks stand out, the sneakers are given an unusual texture. Wheat colored suede is used to cover the entire exterior of the shoe resulting in a hairy design similar to a rug you would find in a 1970s kitchen. The shoes are similar to the much older Adidas footwear with the use of the thick glossy gumsole.

The Tobacco Mita sneakers come with custom insoles. All of the written branding for the sneakers is contained in one spot, on the long brown tongue of the shoes.
