Judd Apatow, the incredible writer, director and producer behind a bevy of brilliant and memorable comedies, is being commemorated in art form with the ‘Tribute to Judd Apatow’ exhibition.

It would only be appropriate that such an influential figure would eventually be honored through an art series dedicated entirely to himself and all of his achievements. The creative genius is responsible for such movies as Anchor Man, Superbad and Bridesmaids and can be thanked for launching many of the well known actors careers. Many of the paintings honor his work, which unsurprisingly show a completely unique comedic persona.

The Tribute to Judd Apatow art showcase is taking place at Gallery1988 in Los Angeles. The opening reception will be taking place on December 4th and the show will be open until December 30th. For comedy lovers, this is one art show that should not be missed.
