Let's thank the researchers over at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials Research in Germany for developing titanium foam bone implants. Now every little boy's dreams of becoming Wolverine (from X-Men) has become slightly more possible. Of course, the circumstances under which one would have these implanted would not be so pleasant.

According to PSFK, these titanium foam bone implants are "made from a polyurethane foam mixed with titanium powder that could be more effective than the conventional solid metal implant." Stats for Titanium Foam Bone Implants Trending: Older & Chilly
