Tinchilla, your beer fresh in 60 seconds!

Imagine one of those days when you come back home and feel like something fresh… and just find and 8-beer-pack outside the fridge. Not a tragedy of course but it sucks, but now with this gadget it will no longer happen. Ok change the beer for a coke if you prefer, the cool point is that it will make your can fresh in just 60 seconds. But really fresh, and you may wonder “right, but how? don think it may get so cold...”. It works with most 350 ml cans and gets them to ice cold from room temperature with the power of just two AA batteries and a handful of ice. It works 240 times faster than a conventional fridge, and after all it’s not expensive… just about 8 dollars or so. There it goes the excerpt of how it works, too much science for me to explain:  The Tinchilla spins the can at an optimized speed that keeps the aluminium in constant contact with the ice cubes and water that are surrounding it. The spinning can is also given a slight vibration that results in a whirlpool effect on its contents. The whirlpool makes all the liquid inside to be exposed to the surface of the can, transferring the heat from inside the can to the surrounding water and ice. In only 60 seconds, almost all the liquid inside of the can has been in contact with the chilled metal, and is now cool enough to drink.
