Time Share Luxury Cars - 315 km an hour in your Rented Lamborghini? (VIDEO)

You don’t see much of the scenery when you are driving in a Lamborghini Gallardo that hits 315 kilometres an hour when the foot is to the floor.

For those of you who dream of one day owning a luxury car of sorts but can’t afford the $304,000 price tag that goes along with making that dream a reality, there is now a way for the average Joe to get in the driver’s seat of their ultimate dream ride.

In April 2007, The Private Collection (theprivatecollection.ca) opened its doors for business.  For a $4,995 initiation fee and $30,995 in annual fees members can buy the opportunity to test the speed limit any time they wish by renting either a red Ferrari, slate grey Lamborghini Gallardo, or a black Porsche Cayman S.

Members of Private Collection get a defined number of days in the car of choice each year, with the sports car dropped off and picked up at their home.  All maintenance is taken care of, no small consideration for cars known to require $10,000 tune-ups and $300 plus tires.
