After checking out the pessimistic photo shoot that showcases Tijana Pavlov’s Fall 2009 collection, I think I need a hug. This campaign is rife with chaos, societal collapse and general disorder. Oh, and fashion, namely unique separates that are not quite ready-to-wear and not quite avant-garde. You can see a handful of shots from Tijana Pavlov’s Fall 2009 collection in the gallery above. The Fashionisto has posted a fascinating analysis on the themes Pavlov plays upon, which I’ve excerpted for you below.  The fabrics of convention are worn away by interesting cuts and then strapped down, evoking the often troubling nature of bondage and the human state of insanity. The collection plays with the notion of what is acceptable and reinforces Pavlov’s obsession with futuristic menswear that defies society’s norms.
