Actor James Preston, who played the rebellious icon James Dean in the feature film 'Joshua Tree, 1951: A Portrait of James Dean,' is the star of this editorial, called 'Thief of Fire,' which appears in Geil magazine.
From the skinny black tie to the cigarette hanging from Preston's mouth, the 'Thief of Fire' shoot provides a not-so-subtle tribute to the charming actor who stole American hearts in the 1950s. Fashions featured in the shoot include a denim jacket and shirt by Levi's, Marc Jacobs' collared white shirt, American Apparel tees and a chunky cable knit vintage sweater, which Preston slides sexily off his shoulders.
The shoot was photographed by Christian Rios, with styling by Gena Tuso and grooming by Sara Wilson.
