The U.S. and Russia are testing non-nuclear thermobaric weapons. The “green” weapons are designed to have the direct impact of nuclear weapons but without the negative impact on the environment. In the U.S. it’s called the “mother of all bombs” and in Russia, it’s the “dad of all bombs.” Now maybe we can confidently plan on sending our grandchildren to college, so they can grow up and effectively deploy global diplomacy.  The Russian military has successfully tested what it described as the world's most powerful non-nuclear air-delivered bomb, Russia's state television reported Tuesday.
The new bomb would allow the military to "protect the nation's security and confront international terrorism in any situation and any region."
