The ZocDoc website is a great invention for those that despise waiting on the phone and having to call all over the city looking for an opening to make a doctors appointment.

The ZocDoc website shows every type of doctor in your vicinity from psychiatrists, to cardiologists and pediatricians, as well as has a listing of appointment openings for each day of the week.

Unfortunately, the ZocDoc website is only available in the United States so hopefully someone will come up with a Canadian version.

This would have been useful when I had my mystery illness that left me in the Toronto General waiting room for 8 hours. Hey, at least it's free!

Agree with you. In Canada there is a site called appointmentseasy.com that has started doing same for free and i saw some MDs starting using it there. It's the english version of a french site called Rendezvousfacile.com. I don't think they are in Italy even so opened for all countries but as only in French and English. but seems they are open if someone wants to help translating from what i read. anyway good health finally start to move!

They must be spending a lot in PR as Zocdoc is only in NYC and Washington now so not so spread. not a big deal and i saw it's quite expensive for doctors too
