The World's First Sat Com - Comedy Sat Nav

I LOVE the piss taking sat nav!!! 230 miles of love based on the M6 (UK’s WORST motorway) basically inserts jokes, sketches and comments into your sat nav - and a clean version is available for children too. If you visit the website it goes into the science but basically various points of interest trigger comments… They call it the World’s first Satcom. Crap name but GREAT idea.

Devised written and created by Andrew Shanahan it is the first episode in a series of six locative media comedies about transport and geography being produced by Moving Audio. The first is the world’s first satcom about the M6 and the final episode is the world’s first SETIcom (that would be a Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence comedy) and is being broadcast into space.

Clearly it works best if you have satnav but there suggestion if you don’t is that you can;
