The Winners Of Tancher Design 2008 (GALLERY)

Tancher Corporation, an expert in the field of industrial design had recently opened a creative contest. The assignment for the participants was to present a concept of a future communication device. Submissions were received from over 20 countries worldwide including: US, Italy, Holland, Singapore, China, and India.

Magic Mirror concept by Gorlov Timofey took the first place. Its internal parts are concealed within a glass sphere capable of lip reading which recognizes your oral commands and enhancing its form. The second placer was the Light Flash concept by Peter Zsolt Koren covered by semitransparent, scratch resistant plastic, with a full sized touchscreen below. It also features a projector and cameras that are also able to grab the hand movement. The third place went to Tancher – Transformer concept by Maxim Shkinder which offers a ton of features. It can act as a mobile telephone, photo/video recorder, multimedia player, multimedia projector and has support for holographoc image projection and 3-D scanner. Check out the gallery after the jump.
