An empty basketball court or paved road isn’t frightening at face value, but the people-free landscapes Gavin Stewart photographs for ‘The Space Around’ certainly have an eerie quality to them. Each area, whether it’s a parking lot, alleyway or backyard of a house, is completely devoid of people.
