The highly anticipated The Simpson Treehouse of Horror episode features an epic tribute to some of the most iconic cartoons from around the world. Considering that the series is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, it comes as no surprise that it pulled all the stops of this particular episode.

Turning the famous family into a range of different cartoon styles, the The Simpson Treehouse of Horror episode is one for the history books. 'Spirited Away,' 'Attack on Titan,' 'South Park' and 'Despicable Me' are just a few of the references showing up in the multiverse. It all started with Lisa musing over a very meta thought, "I just had a worrisome thought.
