Fashion Gone Rogue's 'The Protest of Venus' Series is Dramatic

The protester may have been named Person of the Year by Time magazine, but those rebellious individuals don't have anything on model Nienke who stars in the online editorial titled 'The Protest of Venus.' Shot exclusively for Fashion Gone Rogue, this photo shoot is as stylish as it is exciting. The images are made even more dramatic since the entire shoot is shot in black and white.

The Protest of Venus online editorial was lensed by photographer Dirk Kikstra. Since Nienke is seen fighting authority at every turn, stylist Inge de Lange chose outfits that were lightweight and billowing, which allowed for more movement and, of course, stunning silhouettes. Smokey eyes and soft curls were both created by Patricia van Heumen. Stats for Fashionable Rebellion Photography Trending: Older & Buzzing
