Within her photo shoot 'The Elves and the Shoemaker', Tatiana Takacova uses Polaroids in order to outline a classic fairy tale. The Polaroid photos make the fairy tale more magical and more creative, as the blotchy images allow our imagination to run wild.

The initial photo shows the shoemaker creating his boot, where the light is reflecting off of his face from a window. Specks dot the photograph, adding an enchanting quality to the image. The next few images show the boots being covered by a white cloth, which becomes blurry to us. There is a photo of the finished product, fancy new boots, where the last photo is an over-exposed photograph. We can imagine the last photo to be the elves running off after fixing the boots.

By telling 'The Elves and the Shoemaker' with Polaroids, the fairy tale is told in a fascinating light. Stats for Fairy Tale Polaroid Makeovers Trending: Older & Chilly
