The manufacturers of the Clocky Runaway Alarm Clock have their own particular sense of humor, which is probably not appreciated.  The Clocky Alarm Clock runs away and hides, and you have to find it or it won’t stop ringing. (If you haven’t already figured it out, this procedure makes sleep absolutely impossible!) Most reviewers claim that the Clocky Alarm Clock is appropriately exasperating, but one can only wonder how many Clocky Alarm Clocks in the line of duty have been broken or thrown out of the window by those unwilling to relinquish those last 5,000 winks. You can own this annoying alarm clock for about 30 dollars, and you can get it in four sleep-depriving colors; white, mint green, almond and aqua.

The Clocky Runaway Alarm Clock has had a makeover since its original conception by Nanda. While it still bumps off walls and hides behind and underneath furniture, the newer models do not come with the original shag coverings and are rounder than the original. The newer clocks are made of a durable plastic and the dials and buttons are made to resemble a face. (Perhaps even newer models will include a very unsmiling face, but no one can say for sure.)
