This combination bottle lock is certainly a new way to control alcohol consumption. Without the need for a key, the only stumbling block that must be avoided is forgetting the combination to the Bottle Lock.
While it may be intended for functional reasons such as locking your wine until it’s adequately aged, or to seal your bottle without re-corking, the Bottle Lock can also be used in social situations (i.e. ensuring your designated driver doesn’t drink too much, or preventing your kids from drinking while you’re not at home).
