Just a week ago Trend Hunter brought you Depth of Beauty Pageants, which are focused on inner beauty.  Now, a town in Iceland is focused on the opposite; outer ugly.

An article on Yahoo! tells about a pageant for the saggiest, wrinkliest and most blemished person in a small town in Iceland.  The event is on April 18 in the town of Isafjoerdur.  The contest is open to all men and women who are at least 20 years old. 

"In true beginner fashion, no prizes have been decided upon as of yet. An organizer, Matthildur Helgadottir, thought perhaps the “fun and honour” of taking part would be sufficient reward for contestants. In other words, they don’t have any money and don’t feel like raising any to buy prizes for the entrants." (1trackmind)
