Textured Rubix Cube - Rubix Cube for the Blind

Awesome and simple idea Chinese designer Chen Zhiliang who has devised a Rubik’s Cube specially for the blind.

On ‘The Material Rubix Cube’ the six colors are replaced by six different textures: metal, textile, wood, plastic, stone and rubber. I can imagine it is no easier than the original but a real simple idea and great way to show how to make this age old classic accessible to all. This game is part of a series entitled ‘Touch and Play - a series of games for blind men.’
