Talented artist Danielle Clough creatively upcycles old and unused tennis rackets by transforming the sporting equipment into a canvas to create beautiful works of embroidered art onto. The works depict intricate illustrations of colorful flowers stitched into the plastic meshing of the racket.

Tennis rackets are made to be used in sport, but Clough's recycling of old equipment breathes new life into the otherwise unused products. Clough creatively uses colorful yarn to recreate realistic depictions of flowers such as tulips and roses. The fabric is stitched onto the inside grid of the racket pulling at the plastic to create intricate folds of color. The works are rendered that much more realistic due to the use of a variety of colors to create shading and lightness.
