“You Slept Where?”  If different and obscure is your thing, you might want to check out some of these locations released by Forbes, noting some of the world’s most unusual hotels.
1. Ariau Towers Hotel, Brazil - Amidst the Amazon Rainforest you sleep in treetops perched on stilts, 80 feet above ground. Rates start at $280 (including meals and tours).
2. Beckham Creek Cave Haven, Parthenon, Arkansas This hotel, previously built by John Hay (founder of Celestial Seasonings tea) as a bomb shelter during the cold war is built into the natural rock walls of the Ozark Mountains. Rates start at $450
3. Casablanca Hotel, New York - Based on the 1942 film, Casablanca, this hotel depicts the classic movie with Moroccan decor and even replicates Rick’s Cafe. Rates start at $219
4. Hydropalace, Qingdau, China Ever wonder what the hotel of the future will look like? Due to open in 2009, Guests will arrive to the hotel by yacht. The furturistic digs will be anchored in the yellow Sea. Rates not yet determined

The Pitcher Inn, Warren, Vermont - Welcoming guests since the 1850s, the inn was recreated in 1993 due to a fire and has evolved to represent selected aspects of the state; its history, character, surroundings, sport and social structure. Winivian, Morris, Connecticut - Sitting on 113 acres, 15 architects set out to design 18 individual cottages ranging from a room built right into a helicopter to the perfect campsite at the Camping cottage complete with two wood-burning fireplaces and marshmallows. 10. Quinta Real Zacateca, Zacatecas, Mexico - This property encircles the 17th-century San Pedro bullring with 46 guestrooms paired with modern amenities, original colonial architecture, and the hotel faces the city�s picturesque ancient arched viaduct. From $167
