In May, Trend Hunter featured a company called Safe Talk that provides temporary phone numbers for dating.  Now, another company is offering temporary phone numbers, only this time for Craigslist.

Although not affiliated with Craigslist.com, Craigsnumber.com seems to be the perfect solution for avoiding crank calls.  A quick sign up gives you a free temporary phone number that automatically expires after a time limit you choose.

The phone number works anywhere, but local numbers are only available for San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Dallas.
