Cute Hospital Disposables Edit
Teddy Bear Blood Bag Puts Young Patients at Ease

Digg this TrendStumble this TrendShare this TrendEmailthis TrendEmbed This TrendShare This Trend

Dunne and Raby’s Teddy Bear Blood Bag isn’t exactly the typical hospital purchase. However, it does serve its primary function well, and would actually make a perfect fit in a children’s hospital or the pediatric wing of a health care facility.

Dunne and Raby are a London-based design team comprised of Anthony Dunne and Fiona Raby. According to their website, the duo use design “as a medium to stimulate discussion and debate amongst designers, industry and the public about the social, cultural and ethical implications of existing and emerging technologies.”

This Teddy Bear Blood Bag certainly does inspire discussion—is this bear morbid, or charming?

Seems like this might be less-frightening for kids... the friendly little blood-bear.

Not being 5 it's hard to say, but I think this would be good thing. Teddy bears are always reassuring aren't they?

Very cool idea - maybe add a colour or image to at least one side of the bag though so it doesn't actually look like blood - that could be disconcerting.
