Cool is anything strange and unusual that sends a tingly feeling down your spine.

What is your favorite trend and why?

My favorite trend is technological isolation. The perfect example is this technology ruins romance video by rapper Shing02. It's about these two people who in one scene are using technology like ear buds and Blue Tooth, and in the other they are not. On the side they are using technology, they just glance at each other and that's it, whereas on the other side where they are not, they actually form a connection and he gets her number at the end of the video.

My secret to uncovering the best trends is to look in the most unusual places. Just anywhere and everywhere.

What is your favorite part about working at Trend Hunter?

My favorite thing about working at Trend Hunter are the people who are so encouraging and who love showing up to work every day.

How do you reset to be creative?

I like to go for a quick walk and grab a cup of coffee in order to recharge and refresh my mind.

Predict something awesome for 2020?

A trend I see upcoming in the future are electric outlets along highways so that you can recharge your electric car.

What remarkable ways do you see business changing?

I see businesses changing by going for more minimalist packaging and de-branding. Just having their logo on the packaging rather then having pictures and colors. Take Nutella for example. They have this jar with just their brand name on it and it makes it stand out on the shelf from all the rest of the colorful packaging.

What advice would you give to the business world?

My advice to the business world is that you need to interact with your customers. It's good to have Twitter, but now you have to respond to everyone's comments too.
