There is a lot of potential risk involved with piercings and tattoos while, or when, a woman is pregnant (from breast feeding to anesthetics during birth). As Tayla Johnston awaits the arrival of her newborn, she’s had to consider all the possibilities.

Tayla Johnston has ear modifications (spacers), tattoos from head to toe, multiple piercings (nipples, belly button, tongue) and artistic scarring. Her body is a beautiful canvas of art and, come the time of birth, she’ll have to treat each modification with care.
