Chernobyl Chicken, Two-Headed Squirrel and Feral Cat

Artist Sarina Brewer adds a very macabre twist to her trysts with taxidermy - she works with animal remains (including roadkill) and recreates them into some awfully unearthy and disturbing works of… ahem… art.

Some of the extraordinary creatures you'll find in Sarina Brewer's collection of work include two-headed squirrels, four-legged chickens and frightening cat and bird heads. It seems almost as if Sarina Brewer is trying to induce nightmares with her freakish taxidermy creations. Although they are all undeniably freakish and gruesome, they are really hard to look away from (especially the items that look like creatures straight out of mythological stories). It would be insane to come across live versions of these animals.
