This Duct Tape Contest Has Engineers Sticking to Walls

One can only imagine what a duct tape contest involves. Giving engineers duct tape and telling them to have fun with it and stick a colleague to a wall is always a recipe for fun.

It’s National Engineers week and in honor of that, engineers at a Lockheed Martin facility in New York decided to draw up a contest where they stick each other to walls. While this duct tape contest seems like a children’s activity, it actually requires quite a bit of thought and calculation. The winner was decided simply by whoever stayed on the wall the longest.

There were six teams and each had ten minutes to figure out how they would do it and get their teammate on the wall. In the end, system engineer Chris Erat won by staying on the wall for 15 minutes. Stats for Sticky Tape-Testing Contests Trending: This Year & Mild
